No plans Monday evening? Sign up for a good cause

The Caritas shelter and soup kitchen in Rome is looking for a small group of students to volunteer for the evening of Monday, April 14. Interested students should sign up in the JCU Student Government Office no later than Friday.

Volunteers will help by serving food and working at the sign-in desk in the kitchen area from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Rome's Villa Alba, a clinic with a big heart

ROME, May 9 - Only 20 minutes from Rome sits Villa Alba, a clinic that takes care of  handicapped children and disabled people. The hospital, at times, looks like a summer camp, as  the staff employ the latest alternative practices from music therapy to pet therapy.

And Villa Alba could use your help. The medical center welcomes student volunteers.
